Christ Church ARP - Why We Exist

Celebration We want to passionately celebrate the person and work of Jesus Christ, the Savior. This is worship. We believe God transforms lives and is glorified through dynamic, Biblical preaching and awe-inspiring worship. We believe that worship is defined by God. We believe it is worship that provides the energy for all that we do!
Comprehension…We want to faithfully teach God’s word to God’s people. We believe that healthy, living things grow. This includes followers of Jesus Christ. When we are spiritually healthy, abiding in Christ (John 15:5) and being filled with the Spirit (Eph 5:18), we will grow spiritually. This means we will have a desire to deepen our knowledge of God and His Word. Our love for the Lord will increase and our desire to serve him will deepen. We believe that this kind of spiritual growth is not reserved only for certain believers, but is intended for all sincere followers of Jesus Christ.
Community…We want to have a strong and vibrant fellowship of the saints. We believe being a part of covenant church family means being loving, unified, vulnerable, compassionate, and eager to serve others. We want members to care about people, to be honest and real about their own struggles and difficulties, to love and accept people for who they are, and to be gracious and forgiving toward others. These attitudes and virtues are rooted in a transformed life through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Compassion…We want to show to the world around us that we care. We believe spirit-filled believers passionately seek out lost people and share Christ's love with them through words and actions. We want to be involved in seeing our community transformed by our actions. In addition, we believe Christ followers should actively spread the gospel by supporting missionaries and movements of God throughout the world. It is our desire to see the kingdom of God advance throughout the world.
